This TSB applies to all 1994-2010 VW vehicles equipped with an immobilizer system. An additional electronic key/transponder attached to the same key ring may cause interference problems with the immobilizer system. The message “Immobilizer active” may appear in the dash insert.
This TSB applies to all 2008-2013 VW models equipped with the 2.0L engine. The engine may exhibit rough running, engine noise or MIL on with DTCs P0300 (random/multiple cylinder misfire), P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304 (per cylinder misfires), P2279 (intake air system leak), P1297 (charger throttle connection / drop in pressure), P1093 (Bank 1 fuel measuring system 2 malfunction) or P2187 (system too lean at idle, Bank 1) stored in the ECM.
If the MIL is on and DTC P00AF is stored in the ECM fault memory on a 2013 VW Golf, Jetta, Beetle, Jetta Sportwagon, Golf Wagon or Passat equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L engine, this indicates a Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control “A” Module Performance issue.
This TSB applies to a number of VW models, including 2007-2008 Eos, 2006-2009 Rabbit, GTI and R32, 2006-2009 Jetta, 2009 Jetta SportWagon and 2009 Tiguan.
This TSB applies to 2007-2008 VW Beetle vehicles equipped with the 2.5L engine. A DTC P3047 may be displayed for a MIL ON condition. This DTC indicates activation starter relay 2 short to B+.
This TSB refers to all 2008-2012 VW vehicles equipped with the 2.0L engine, where the customer complains of a no-start or rattling noises from the engine, and the MIL on. DTCs 00022 P0016 (crankshaft position vs. camshaft position correlation) and 00808 P0328 (knock sensor 1 circuit high input) may be set.
Concern: A knocking noise from the vehicle front, involving 2006-2011 VW Passat and 2009-2012 CC models.
This TSB refers to 2009 VW Tiguan vehicles. After removing the ignition key, the engine may sporadically continue to run. DTC 00576 may appear (terminal 15 implausible signal sporadic).
