Too Much E85?

This bulletin applies to a number of GM products including 2013-2015 Cadillac ATS/2012-2015 SRX, 2012-2017 Buick LaCrosse/Regal/Verano, 2012-2017 Chevy Caprice, 2016-2018 Captiva/ 2011-2017 Equinox/2012-2018 Impala and 2011-2017 GMC Terrain.

Chevy Oil Leak Fix

This bulletin applies to 2013 – 2019 Chevy Malibu vehicles equipped with a 2.5L or 2.0L engine. The same engines are available in a number of GM vehicles including Buick Envision and Regal, Cadillac CTS, ATS and CT6, Chevy Camaro, Equinox, Impala and Traverse and GMC Acadia, Canyon and Terrain.

Equinox Switch Glitch

A “small number” of ignition and start switch housings are involved in a recall involving 2010-2013 Chevy Equinox, 2013 Buick Encore, 2011 Buick Regal, 2013-2014 Buick Verano, 2011-2016 Chevy Cruze, 2013-2015 Chevy Malibu and 2011-2013 GMC Terrain models. The ignition system may contain a damaged electronic park lock lever that could fail to prevent the ignition key to be removed when the transmission is in a position other than park. 

Buick Bug

This bulletin applies to 2012-2017 Buick Regal models. Some customers may comment that the check engine light is illuminated. In “rare” cases, they may also comment that there is no PRNDL display. When checking for DTCs, technicians may find P182E set as active or history in the transmission control module (TCM).

Bad Ground, No Power Assist

In “rare” cases, it has been reported that there is a lack of or no power steering assist on 2012 Buick Regal vehicles equipped with electric power steering. The cause is likely a poor connection at G111 ground (see indicated by red arrows in photo). 

Tow Can Mess Up GPS

This bulletin applies to all 2011-2012 GM passenger cars and light-duty trucks. In the event that an OnStar module had previously acquired a GPS signal with calibrated dead reckoning and is transported or towed at least 59 miles with the ignition off, the module may not re-acquire a current GPS location.

Hot Buick

In “rare instances,” 2012 Buick Regal vehicles equipped with L61, LE5, LEA, LAF, LHU, LNF or LSJ engines may exhibit engine overheating or coolant temperatures that are abnormally high.

Tricky Vacuum

This bulletin applies to 2012/2013 Buick Regal vehicles with the MIL on and with DTC P0442 set as current or in history (EVAP system small leak canister vent solenoid valve not sealing under vacuum).

Busted Chain and Overheat

This bulletin applies to 2011-2012 Buick Regal models equipped with L61, LE5, LEA, LAF, LHU, LNF or LSJ engines. “In rare instances,” the engine may overheat or the coolant temperature my run abnormally high.
