Chevy Corvette Park System Isn’t Engaging

This bulletin applies to 2016-2019 Chevy Corvette vehicles equipped with a 8L45 or 8L90 automatic transmission. The park system may not engage. The condition may be caused by a damaged parking pawl and/or parking pawl actuator.

Vetter Cold Air Upgrade

This bulletin applies to 2014-2019 Chevy Corvette vehicles. Some customers may comment on interference at the hood air extractor and/or hood blanket after the installation of the Performance Cold Air Intake.

Vette Transmission

Some 2019 Chevy Corvette vehicles equipped with a 6.2L engine and 8L90 automatic transmission may have an issue due to transmission valve body solenoids not being fully seated.

Flame Thrower

Certain 2019 Chevy Corvette vehicles equipped with the LT5 6.2L supercharged V8 engine may experience a fuel injector commanded on for 7.5 seconds when exiting deceleration fuel cutoff, causing the engine to misfire. This may result in excess fuel in the exhaust causing flames to exit the tailpipes, which may damage the rear fascia and the ZR1 badge.

Vette Air Bag Recall

General Motors is recalling certain 2019 Corvette ZR1 models. Hard braking or acceleration may cause the sensing diagnostic module (SDM) to enter a fault state.

Corvette Pinch

This bulletin applies to 2018-2019 Chevy Corvette models that exhibit reduced engine power. One possible cause is a pinched wire harness.

Leaky Vette

This bulletin applies to 2016-2018 Chevy Corvettes equipped with a 6.2L LT1/LT4 engine. The vehicle may have a concern with coolant loss and/or coolant odor. If the coolant is low, pressure test the cooling system to check for leaks at the outer cylinder head bolts.

Vette Rattle

Some owners of a 2014-2019 Chevy Corvette equipped with an automatic transmission may comment about a rattle noise at the front of the vehicle when the engine is running at slower engine speeds. This condition may be caused by a deformed propshaft coupler, which may move the driveline support assembly’s front input shaft bearing out of position.

Corvette Cough

This bulletin applies to 2016-2019 Chevy Corvette models equipped with LT1 or LT4 engines. If the SES lamp is on and the engine experiences misfires, and DTC P0300, P0308 or any cylinder numbers in-between are set, inspect for a possible loose spark plug wire at the ignition coil.
