Ram 1500 Recall

A customer may notice a false message “Battery Voltage Low – Start Engine to Change Ride Height” which appears in the electronic vehicle information center (EVIC) when unlocking or locking the doors.

This bulletin applies to 2013-2014 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks equipped with a 5.7L engine, and built on or before May 10, 2014. A false message “Battery Voltage Low – Start Engine to Change Ride Height” may appear in the EVIC (electronic vehicle information center) when unlocking or locking the doors.

Reflash the Ram

This bulletin applies to a range of Dodge Ram 4x4 trucks equipped with an electronic transfer case and built before Jan. 6, 2012, where the “Service 4WD” light is illuminated and the DTCM requires reprogramming.

Shaky Mirror

This bulletin applies to 2012 Dodge Ram trucks, including 1500, 2500, 3500 and 4500/5500 series, where the left side door tow mirror features a shaking motion in the mirror glass. The cause may be a fault in the pivoting arm between the mirror head and the door mount.
