Bad Box

This bulletin applies to 2018 GMC Canyon trucks equipped with a 2.5L engine and Terrain vehicles equipped with a 2.0L or 1.5L engine. On some vehicles, an electrical connection in the circuit board may fail in the engine control module.

Flame Thrower

Certain 2019 Chevy Corvette vehicles equipped with the LT5 6.2L supercharged V8 engine may experience a fuel injector commanded on for 7.5 seconds when exiting deceleration fuel cutoff, causing the engine to misfire. This may result in excess fuel in the exhaust causing flames to exit the tailpipes, which may damage the rear fascia and the ZR1 badge.

Alfa TCM Reflash

Owners of 2017-2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio vehicles equipped with a 2.9L V6 twin turbo engine and built on or before May 10, 2018, may experience a MIL on. DTC P0700 (transmission control system) may be stored in the ECM/PCM. The fix involves reprogramming the TCM with the latest software.

Genesis Update

This bulletin provides information related to an ECM software update to improve starting performance. Perform this update if a vehicle in in for service for an intermittent no-start concern. This applies to 2017-2018 Genesis G90 vehicles equipped with a 5.0 GDI engine.

ECM Backup Circuit DTC

This bulletin applies to 2015 and later Infiniti vehicles. The MIL may be on, with DTC P0603 stored (ECM Back Up/Circuit).

Caddy Fuel Pressure

This bulletin applies to 2015-2018 Cadillac Escalade vehicles equipped with a 6.2L engine. The SES lamp may be illuminated. DTCs P2635, U0074 and/or U18A2 may be set.

Snow/Ice Mode Program

Certain 2019 Chevy Blazer vehicles may not have the snow/ice mode calibration, which results in the selection of snow/ice mode (knob selector) not having a change in the accelerator pedal response. GM recommends reprogramming the ECM to the latest software release.
