Diesel WIF Sensor

Some 2017-2018 Ford F-Super Duty trucks equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine, built on or before March 15, 2018, may experience an illuminated WIF (water in fuel) indicator with DTC P1140, P2266 and/or P2269 stored in the PCM. This may be due to water intrusion into connector C3080 at the WIF sensor.

Ford Red Brake Light

Some 2013 Ford F-Super Duty trucks equipped with a 6.2L engine and built on or before 2/21/2013 may exhibit an illuminated red brake warning indicator, along with DTC C101A:62 (vacuum pressure sensor signal error in the anti-lock brake module).

Ford Truck Lost its Way?

Some 2013 Ford F-Super Duty and F-150 trucks equipped with SYNC and/or MyFord Touch built on or before 1/15/2013 may exhibit a voice prompt indicating SYNC Services Traffic, Direction or Information (TDI) is unable to locate the vehicle or a Global Position System Module (GPSM) concern.

Super Duty Brake Warning Light

Some 2013 Ford F-Super Duty trucks equipped with a 6.2L engine and built on or before Feb. 21, 2013, may exhibit an illuminated red brake warning indicator with DTC C101A:62 (vacuum pressure sensor signal error in the ABS module).

Super Duty Fuel Pump Code

Some 2012-2016 Ford F-Super Duty trucks equipped with a 6.7L engine built on or before 4/6/2016 may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTCs P0627, P025A, P025B and/or U0109 stored in the PCM.

Ford Truck CAT Sensor

Some 2010 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with a 4.6L or 5.4L engine, 2011-2012 F-150 equipped with a 5.0L engine, F-Super Duty equipped with a 5.4, 6.2 or 6.8L engine, and built on or before 4/1/2012 may exhibit DTC P2270 or P2272 (catalyst monitor sensor bank 1 or 2).

Diesel Coolant Leak

Some 2015-2017 Ford F-Super Duty trucks equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine, built on or before June 1, 2017, may exhibit a leak from the coolant pump. 

DTCs and Forced-Idle Mode

Some 2013 Ford F-Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit the MIL on with codes P2002, P208E, P06EA and/or P06EB stored. A calibration is available to improve the monitors listed for these DTCs.
