While driving, the customer may experience flickering interior/exterior lights, multiple indicators, possible other voltage-related fluctuations and jerky steering. The B+ sensing screw on the alternator may not be properly torqued.

Honda Fit Recall

Honda is recalling certain 2015-2016 Fit LX-trim vehicles built from April 11, 2014, to July 2, 2015, and not equipped with a sunroof.

Honda Battery Sensor

This bulletin applies to 2015 and 2016 Honda Fit vehicles. The charging system indicator may be on, with DTC P154A (battery sensor internal failure) stored. In this case, the battery sensor has an internal failure and must be replaced. Replacement are available as P/N 38920-T5A-A02.

Honda Could Resume Production in Early April

Honda expects to resume production on April 7 but for now is extending the production suspension previously announced for all of its automobile, engine and transmission plants in the U.S. and Canada.

Dirty Honda Injectors

This bulletin applies to 2018-2019 Honda Odyssey, 2016-2019 Pilot and 2017-2018 Ridgeline vehicles. The MIL may come on with DTC P0300 (random misfire detected) and/or P0301-P0306 (cylinder misfire detected), or P219A/B (air-fuel ratio variation of cylinder (bank 1, rear bank/bank 2, front bank)

Bad Seat Rivets

Honda is recalling certain 2018 Honda Pilot and Ridgeline and Acura MDX vehicles. The front driver and passenger powered seats may have been assembled with improperly manufactured rivets.

Reman Trans Leak

This bulletin applies to 2016-2017 Honda Pilot vehicles. Because of a transmission case flaw, the inside of the torque converter bracket hole in some 9-speed automatic transmissions is porous enough to allow ATF to leak from the hole. This flaw was found by the transmission factory during production.

Honda Pump Chirp

This bulletin applies to 2016-2018 Honda Pilot, 2017-2019 Ridgeline and 2018-2019 Odyssey vehicles. A high pitched chirping noise may be heard in the engine area with the engine warmed up. The probable cause is the high pressure fuel pump. According to Honda, this noise does not impact pump or engine function or reliability. 

Honda Direct Injection Service

This bulletin applies to all Honda vehicles equipped with a direct injection engine. Some of the service procedures that involve removal and installation of fuel system and engine parts require removing and installing the fuel joint pipe. Keep in mind that this is a must-replace part and must never be reused.
