Jaguar Vehicles Need Identification for DPF

This bulletin applies to 2020 Jaguar F-PACE, XE and XF vehicles equipped with a diesel engine. PATHFINDER may not display the application “Diesel particulate filter replacement.” The cause: The vehicle is not being correctly identified as being equipped with a DPF. As a result, the relevant application is not being displayed.

SMP Adds Standard and Intermotor Parts

Standard Motor Products Inc. (SMP) announces the addition of 230 new part numbers to its Standard and Intermotor lines. The release spans 64 product categories and expands coverage for import and domestic applications through the 2020 model year by more than 265 million VIO.

Loose Jag Connection

This bulletin applies to 2016 XF and XE vehicles equipped with the Ingenium 14 2.0L diesel engine. A customer may report that the engine warning lamp is illuminated.

Cold Colorado

This bulletin applies to 2019 Chevy Colorado trucks equipped with a 2.8L turbo diesel engine. Some customers may comment that the MIL is illuminated. They may also note that a “Service Emission System” message is displayed in the driver information center.

Ram Trans

This bulletin applies to 2016-2017 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup, 3500 Cab Chassis and 4500/5500 Can Chassis vehicles equipped with a 6-speed Aisin transmission and a 6.7L Cummins Turbo diesel engine. A small number of customers may experience a MIL on.

Diesel WIF Sensor

Some 2017-2018 Ford F-Super Duty trucks equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine, built on or before March 15, 2018, may experience an illuminated WIF (water in fuel) indicator with DTC P1140, P2266 and/or P2269 stored in the PCM. This may be due to water intrusion into connector C3080 at the WIF sensor.

Jaguar issued a recall for certain 2017 XE vehicles equipped with a 2.0L diesel engine.

F-350 ABS Reprogram

Some 2013 Ford F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with a 6.2L diesel engine and built on or before 2/21/2013 may exhibit an illuminated red brake warning indicator, with DTC C101A:62 (vacuum pressure sensor signal error) in the ABS module.
