Chevrolet May Develop Fracture in Half-Shaft

Certain 2017 Chevrolet Volt vehicles may develop a fractured right front tubular half-shaft near the outboard CV joint. The driver may hear a clunk, grinding or rattle noise during braking or acceleration. Loss of propulsion may occur. Also, the wheels may not be locked when parked and roll-away may occur when parked on a grade without the parking brake applied.
