Adjust the Ram TCM

2014 Dodge RAM 3500 and 4500/5500 cab chassis owners may complain about a harsh 1-2 downshift if equipped with the AISIN AS69RC automatic transmission.

The simple fix involves reprogramming the TCM (transmission control module), recalibrating with release 14.03 or higher. This recalibration should eliminate the complaint.
