When using the HandsFreeLink (HFL) on a 2013 Acura ILX Hybrid, RDX or ILX vehicle, one or more of the following problems may occur:
- Cracking voice tags
- Poor voice tag quality
- Functionality issues with Blackberry 10
- Blackberry 10 smartphone e-mail messages are displayed incorrectly
The solution involves updating the HFL control unit software with updated HDS and HFL versions.
Cross-reference the software version and part number displayed on the HFL control unit update tool. If the update is applied to an incorrect VIN, the HFL control unit may be damaged.
