Checking on Chevy Stabilizer Shift Links

Owners of 2012-2017 Chevy Sonic vehicles may complain about a clunk/pop noise from the front suspension. The condition may be caused by water intrusion in the stabilizer shaft.

Disconnect the stabilizer shaft links. If the noise goes away, replace both links. If the noise remains, inspect the strut(s), coil springs, strut upper mount. New stabilizer shaft links are available as P/N 42342547.
