Owners of 2017-2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia vehicles equipped with a 2.9L V6 bi-turbo engine may experience a MIL on. DTC P00C0-00 (turbocharger-supercharger bypass valve 2 control unit) may be set. Scan for other codes and address as needed. Then remove the left fresh air intake duct and inspect for any damage to the bypass valve connector. Replace the connector as needed.
Disconnect the bypass valve connector. Remove the wires from the plastic sleeve, cut the wires and remove the old damaged connector. Splice the new connector (P/N 68369901AA) wires onto the main harness. Place the new connector wires back into the plastic sleeve and connect the new connector to the by-pass valve. Install the protective cover (P/N 68519378AA) on the by-pass valve. Using the scan tool wiTECH 2, clear all DTCs that ,ay have set.
