Stopping Mazda Engine Oil Contamination

Naturally, if the oil pressure sensor is leaking, replace the sensor and clean the C-34 connector and its harness.

You may encounter engine oil contamination caused by oil seepage from the oil pressure sensor on some 2007-2015 Mazda CX-9 vehicles. The oil may migrate to the C-34 connector and cause DTCs P2A04:00 (HO2S LH circuit range/performance) and/or P2272:00 (HO2S LH signal stuck lean) to be stored.

Naturally, if the oil pressure sensor is leaking, replace the sensor and clean the C-34 connector and its harness.
