Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper have been named 2020 winners in all three categories of the Auto Care Association's Career and Educational Award.
Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper were recognized in the large business category. Auto Value shareholder owner Arnold Group of Companies received the award in the mid-size business category. Auto Value Certified Service Center Dykstra's Auto - a seven-location operation in western Michigan - took home the prize for small businesses.
"It's an absolute honor to receive this prestigious recognition from the Auto Care Association," says John Washbish, president and CEO of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.
"We adapted our training efforts this year to meet the unforeseen challenges the global pandemic has caused and we've all come out better-educated because of it."
Mark Doornbos, general manager of Dytech Auto Group, of which Dykstra's is a member, says education "is a definite priority for us. The better-trained our employees are, the better we are able to serve our customers."
The Career and Educational Award honors aftermarket companies that are dedicated to employee professional development and growth.
