Kia Gets Caught in Spiders' Webs

This bulletin applies to all Kia models. If DTC P0449 appears after replacing the purge control valve, canister close valve and fuel tank pressure sensor and the GDS Evap test shows a pass, insects might be the problem. As the weather warms, spiders have the tendency to nest in the Evap vent system. Locate and clear any spider webs to restore the operation of the Evap system.
