Some 2016-2018 Toyota Tacoma vehicles equipped with a 2GR engine and AC60 transmission may exhibit a surge feeling when traveling between 40 and 50 mph; when the transmission is in fourth or fifth gear; and during torque converter lock-up.

The ECM logic has been revised to address this condition. Reprogram the ECM using software version 13.20.018 or later, using calibration 8966304B0400 (2016-2017, main ECM....and 896650401400 sub-ECM); 8966304A6100 (2018 main ECM......896650404100 subs ECM).
